Twist ya shirt in da air
So yesterday was insane. We were supposed to meet everyone at artscape at 5:30, but of course that didn't happen. Cait's mom didn't get to my house to pick me and Melissa up until a little after 6, but that was okay because it took Brian and Cole an hour to find parking and Liz was waiting in an awful line at the light rail. So we finally get to artscape and then we have to find everyone. We met up with Shay, Heather, and Mikey and they helped us find Brian, Cole, and Liz. This took another 45 minutes to try and get everyone in the same spot. We then went to get food and Cole decided to choose the line that was the longest ever. Me and Heather tried to go get Bacardi but we turned back because it would have taken to long to walk there. Me, Liz, Melissa, Brian, and Cole went to see Wyclef and Heather, Shay, Mike, and Cait went to see the Violent Femmes. Wyclef was amazing and I can't believe I got to see a show that was that good for free. We met these two SUPER hott guys who go to Yale. One of them graduated from PHS in '02, I should have asked them to dance but I'm too much of a chicken shit :) Wyclef played a Bob Marley song so I called Cait and left her a message with the song because I love her :):) Then we all walked back to the food place and split a funnel cake and got some drinks. Then came the most exciting part of the night, trying to find our cars. We walked to an Amoco station (which we thought was on the way to the Rite Aid which was where Brian's car was supposed to be) and then decided that we would have Cait's mom come to the Amoco station and pick us up there since Cole and Brian had no idea how to get the the Rite Aid. Brian was worried that his car was going to get towed because it was getting close to 11 so him, Cole, and Melissa left us to try and go to the Rite Aid. Two seconds later Cait's mom comes and I called Brian, Cole, and Melissa to see if they had found the Rite Aid. Of course they hadn't and they were completely lost so they walked back to the gas station and all 5 of us piled in to the back seat of Cait's mom's car. Melissa was on my lap, Cole was on Brian's lap, and Cait was squished in the corner and all of us were sweating like pregnant ladies and could barely breathe. We found the Rite Aid and we saw Brian's car, but he had "valet parked" it so he didn't have the key to it and had to find the guy with the key. We let Brian, Cole, and Melissa out of the car and they start walking to find the valet guy (btw valet parking their car was the stupidest idea ever seeing as it was in the worst possible section of Baltimore City ever). I waited a couple of minutes and then called Cole's cell phone to see if they knew where they were going, of course they were lost again. I was trying to find out where they were so that we could go and find them and drive them to where they thought the car would be, but Cole is an idiot and had absolutley no idea what he was talking about. While I was talking to Cole, Melissa called me and she told us they were in the middle of Maryland General Hospital, so we drove there. We picked them all up again and all piled in the back of the car, yet again. We drove to where Brian's car was and there (thankfully) was the valet man with Brian's car key. Brian and Cole got in their car and drove home (Melissa decided to stay with me and Cait), but then Cait's mom got lost trying to get out of the city. We ended up seeing quite a few hookers and people who were "pimping" as Cait's mom put it. I ended up getting home around 12:30 and let me just say this, I never need that much excitement ever again in my entire life.
