when we say fun stuff, we mean awesome stuff
this week has been a roller coaster.
last saturday i went with my little sister (who is only a year younger then me) to see ashley simpson at the hampton beach casino ballroom. it was so much fun. she actually sang live and it was rewally good. she only played for like 45 minutes but that was as much as i could take.
sunday a bunch of us went to see the dwarves down in boston at the middle east. pat was standing next to me the whole time and kept grabbing the guitar players nipples and he got so pissed he cracked pats head open with him guitar it was hilarous!
i made out with blag while they were playing and i felt like such a dirty groupie whore and i loved every minute of it. besides all these little scenester girls behind me were all jealous.
Tiny Whales played shows thursday, friday and saturday.
by friday i guess all the boys were going to quit the band because they were so pissed off. just because we played 2 shows that were no fun. what a couple of dumbies. shows sometimes suck, sometimes you dont get any money and sometimes no one shows up. so we played at jacques cabaret last night and it was an awesome time. we got drunk and played awesome. and no one got a parking ticket!
friday also nate and sarah got married. it was beautiful and marc and i had a really fun time. they were so cute when they were reading there vows. marc was like "they said some really nice stuff about eachother" hahhha! duh! isnt that what vows are all about? anyways they seemed really psyched about the scorpion we got them for a present and im happy because i thought it would be perfect but i was still scared that getting a pet would be like inappropriate.
i don think im going to make rent this month, im so screwed. it sucks. i hate worrying about money so im just going to not think about it till i get my check next friday and then act all surprised. i hate life.
we have some really awesome show coming up into the next year. we'll be making some posters and fliers. but i really excited about it plus we're (hopefully) almost done recording. only a couple more things to do and then mixing. yeah!
oh and pete barr is moving into our wing of chutney flats. how exciting. everyone must welcome him wiht open arms. i think he will make a very nice addition to our household.
