Dear Tax Return & Quarterly Bonuses...
Well it looks like 2009 is shaping up to be quite the expensive year for me and Kyle. It makes me nervous because my goal was to have $6000 in our downpayment account by the end of the year and that goal looks to be far far away now. At least in July we'll be done paying off Best Buy for the TV which frees up an extra $90 bucks a month!
My parents are both turning 60 this year. My brother, sister, and I are planning a surprise party for them. It's looking like it will cost about $250-300 a piece BUT that is for both of them (we're having a combined party).
Then comes the multiple weddings I have to go to. Oh jesus help me. One of them we have to stay in Vermont for at least 2 nights. So that is going to be quite the crazy expense too!
Then we have Toronto! I will not deny myself a vacation. While Kyle and I do not have any children we need to be enjoying as many child free vacations that we can. I'm so annoyed at his work though, they're giving him the run around as to when they are going to close in July and all of my trip buddies are waiting on this information to book our vacation.
Thankfully I can look forward to at least 3 bonuses this year and hopefully we'll have a good tax return! At least everything coming up is something very exciting that I am looking forward to, I am just not looking forward to the hit our wallets will take.
My work has their "Winter Celebration" on Saturday. I'm strangely looking forward to this. Especially since a relative's band is playing, I don't really like him, he has no personality, but when he gets up on that stage he is MR. PERSONALITY so it's always fun watching that.
I have been advertising my website for makeup and I have gotten a few requests and it's only been a week. Let's hope that continues!!
