Just read through your BG fanfic and wanted to leave you a comment to tell you how much i enjoyed it. It's a well written piece, well thought out and structured. It also gives the reader a glimpse of the other side of the *new* BG universe.

Anyway...

Wow. What a debut. The last 3 paragraphs brought totally involuntary tears to my eyes.

Poor, poor Sharon, believing herself to be abandoned by God and now that He's going to take revenge on her by taking Helo away from her.

Just one little thing of a technical nature... You may want to warn your readers about the depiction of the rape. You did a good job with it, but it was a bit shocking, since it was edited for the show in such a way that her saviors may have arrived in time to stop it.

I am looking forward to more fic from you, especially if they involve Helo/Sharon. :)

And I hope you don't mind, but I, too, am friending you. :D

I deleted your HE post as you said. I used to use rich text format a lot when I fangurled Arial Narrow size 10 like crazy ;).

Yeah, I'm with sbabe on writing a rape warning. I truly found her rape very, very disturbing... It had nothing to do with your writing, however. I just don't have a solid stomach for that sort of thing.

I loved Sharon's contemplations - especially the story about the animal that knew everything. I love those sorts of, er, folk stories (can this one be called a folk story?). Also loved Sharon's thoughts on the God.

I'm totally going to copy and paste this sentence from sbabe's post: I am looking forward to more fic from you, especially if they involve Helo/Sharon. :) Because we meant it :D.

I'm really sorry I upset you, Amsie. It was not intentional. I always take my writing very seriously and sometimes I forget that too much reality is TOO MUCH. Not all of my stories will be so painful. Just a few. No more rapes.

That particular "folk story" is one that I learned recently. The very first time I read it, my mind screamed, "Cylons!" Somehow, it was so fitting.

There will come a day in which you will BEG me to never write Sharon/Helo again. ;-) Until then, I'll be very happy to continue sharing with you and the other wonderful members of this community.

You all really know how to make a person feel welcome.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story, Sabaceanbabe. I did post it and I did ask Amsie to delete it because my naughty Japanese computer has issues.

I will post a warning in just a moment. I'd forgotten all about that. I have such a visual bent, I don't think the bad edit convinced me that Sharon wasn't rape. I've read it described as a near rape and it always shocked me.

I'm sure I'm going to post more Helo/Sharon and I hope one day they truly make it to the same story. The next story is Helo-centric. He is such a babe!!!

I don't mind the friends list. Just know that I'm a pathetically slow writer.

Hon, I totally saw the rape as you see it, too. Maybe not in such graphic detail... I don't generally mention it on HE, because I don't want to send anyone into hysterics, but I'm certain that they didn't arrive in time to stop it from happening, only to cut it short, as you depicted here. The blanket scene and the sobbing, they just kill me.

And YAY! for a Helo-centric fic! Let me say it again. YAAAAAAAYYYYYYY!

The downside of having a visual bent is seeing waaaaayyyy too much. That blanket scene was heartbreaking. Grace really did dig deep for that.

Not only will it be Helo-centric, but it will also feature Dualla.

Please, please, before anyone shoots, the only ship that will sail on these seas will be Sharon and Helo!
