Hot as hell...

Have you ever heard fly fishermen talk about how fishing is about enjoying nature all by yourself, and how exhilarating the experience is? Today's session is nothing like that. In fact at one point of time I was worried about fainting due to heat exhaustion in the wilderness with no one to help me. Either way, I guess early afternoon luring is out for me in the future.

That aside, fishing today was actually pretty alright.

This is a mother of a pretty big school of baby peacocks.... caught on River2sea V-Joint lure. Released back to her babies right after photo taking





The aggressive peacock bass took the IMA Popkey lure violently...



Crazy little fellow....



This peacock bass is the smaller of 2 in a breeding pair... I actually hooked up her boy friend which is massive by peacock bass standards... but lost him during the fight...
