Hellllo! So here comes the spring break update...yes, 4 countries, 6 plane flights, 10 people, 13 days...it was an experience..and i'm so glad i did it! ok onto the pictures...below is the beautiful beaches of the Phi Phi Islands in southern thailand...and yah it really looks like the pictures.
So back to the begining of the trip...it all started in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia and behind me is the KL Tower...
Ever see the movie Entrapment? these are the Petronas towers...i went to the skybridge woot!
I found these kids playing near the towers in a pool and they asked me for cigarettes...
Looking down from the skybridge
The next day i went wondering around KL by myself to see the bird park and some other things and i stumbled upon a huge family of monkeys...and i fed them ritz crackers as u can see
The next day we went to Bali and stayed at the sheraton (our one treat of the trip) such a beautiful resort!! and it was super cheap too..$30/person
Bali Beaches
The water was too flat for me....zuma is still the best beach in the world
I liked this picture at dinner w/ the group
I was the only one who got up the next morning to see the sun rise in Bali...
Our second day in Bali we left the beaches behind to see a beautiful lake...and...
some cute little girls begging us to buy their handicrafts, which was so sad
and a volcano!
Later we went to an ancient hindu temple and prayed..
And took fun pictures
Then we went to the rice terraces
And then to the monkey forest...look at this little family!
And a baby monkey! Its hands look SOOO human its scary
And a little friend to eat bananas on my lap
ok so back in Kuala Lumpur for a day, we went to the Batu gaves where there is another Hindu temple...see the Hindu god shiva (sp?) behind me..and the stairs we went up!
Then we got blessed and I bought a Ganesha statue...it reminds me of the play which meant a lot to me..Ganesha is the god of good fortune supposedly but later that day I got food poisoning and stayed in bed or the bathroom from 6pm til 8:30am...not FUN...so I dont know I guess i was a bad person! Anyway that was the best day of the trip to get sick cause we had already seen all of Kuala Lumpur and there wasn't much to do...and i was fine in time to go to Phuket, Thailand the next day
Sunset in phuket...this was really sad because it was really close to where i was when i took the sunset pictures w/ Megan about a week and half beforehand....i missed her a lot!
Phi Phi Islands the next day!
Most of the group...
Thats me snorkelling and some crazy colored fish...it was really neat!
wow
A beach on either side....can you see it?
Enough of the beaches...that night we flew to bangkok...and saw the grand palace...and the jade buddah
Then we saw the worlds largest sleeping buddah
And i found some buddhist monks'listening to their mp3 player....so awesome
Sodas in Thai
That night i was standing in front of 7-11 bargaining with a taxi driver when all of a sudden i almost got run over by an elephant...and there were two of them
The next morning we went to the "Kingdom of Cambodia" we thought that was really funny especially because the country is soooo poor...heres what it looks like just after entering:
Third world to the max
Transporting live poultry in cambodia...bird flu anyone? Also seen on the back of a scooter: Baby pigs in a cage, full size pigs, lamb.
Okay so below are a series of photos from the temples in Siem Reap Cambodia. These temples all have different names but the most well known is Angkor Wat and the others are so close by that i'm sure you can find them all on google if you just search "angkor wat" anyway, the temples were built in the 12th century and they are now just falling apart. They are absolutely breathtaking and i've never seen anything in any of the other countries where I actually couldn't help saying "wow" outloud. well enough chatter, here are the photos...oh and btw you might recognize them...these temples were featured in the movie Tomb Raider
The Gate
The first temple...Angkor Thom
Some sketchings on the wall
These faces are all over the place! haha
The second temple...Angkor Wat
View from the temple top
A third temple to see the sunset from...

I said third world...these kinds of things change your perspective on life.
I know everyone is sick of sunrise, sunset photos but here is the sunrise in cambodia as we left the next morning to return to bangkok
AirAsia...the wonderful airline that we flew on 5 out of 6 flights
Sergio doesn't know how to smile so we all took a picture like him
