first post in melbourne! :)
GREETINGS FROM MELBOURNE! :)
it's currently my fifth day here and i'm already missing home. it's summer now, but it's COLD. i repeat, summer is COLD! seriously. we are all walking around in our jackets while walking around campus and to school. it's a 20min walk (if we don't stroll) to trinity from albert house. it's kind of far but then again i'll get used to it. although all of us can't imagine what walking in winter will be like? we heard from "beng" that it's unbearable. ohno! :( and i realise that i brought very little clothes to melbourne! i need more clothes so tmr i'l be going shopping with mommy. :)
staying at albert house is actually not bad, can make more new friends cos everyone's usually together at the dining room for meals. but the limited bandwidth rule sucks! if i exceed 700mb, my internet will just poof cut off, and if i have projects/research to do, i need the internet so i have to pay uncle andrew 30bucks for another 700mb. SIGHS. almost everything takes up bandwidth, from msn to youtube/crunchyroll to downloads. oh wells.. so that's why my friends and i have decided to post/blog/download in school, research/do hw/essays/msn back at hostel. msn doesn't really take up so much bandwidth so it's okay.
i have decided on my 3 electives for my foundation studies at trinity. i'll do psychology, math 1 and accounting. then we also have compulsary subjects to take: english (that includes lit & drama ahhhh) history of ideas (HOI) and english for academic purposes (EAP). i have tests/exams at the end of every term, so my first tests will be around easter, which is about 4-5 weeks time. haha. oh wells..
okay it's about 12 here now. gotta wake up early tmr cos i'm going to QV tmr with chermaine, melissa and 2 other new friends. mommy and melissa's mom are coming too, so we'll have delicious breakfast outside together!
