MERRY CHRISTMAS! ♥
this christmas has been awesome! :DDD i had so many things to do, so much to eat, endless christmas cards to write, to the fact that i think i lacked sleep so now i'm down with flu.. O: but that gives me the excuse to stay home and finally watch some dramas and slack all day! :D i forgot how hunger felt like from last wednesday to sunday, i ate so much during christmas week that now i can't really think of food anymore.. :/ plus i'm sick so soup and porridge have been my bestfriends haha.
MONDAY
the busy week started off with christmas shopping with mommy at vivo (cos she took a day off)! and we had BK's mushroom swiss and turkey bacon for lunch YUMMY! hadn't had BK in a long time cos melbourne only has hungry jack's which just doesn't taste the same as BK, so our burgers tasted really good! :D bought random things here and there, but there isn't really much that attracts me idk why..? maybe cos most places are selling winter wear or i've just shopped too much in sg alr haha. don't you think vivo, 313, ion, taka all have the same shops? chan says that i should go to bangkok cos everything is so cheap there! and mich is there now, hope she's having fun! mommy take me there for a weekend getaway please? xD
TUESDAY
tues was shopping for presents with batchie! we walked the whole of citylink, suntec and marina to hunt for the douys + moss presents and we eventually decided to get them something from precious thoughts. those wooden frames with their names inside so that they can hang it on their doors. hope you like them babes! and thanks for the christmas cards and presents too! ♥
WEDNESDAY
sean came to visit last week so cherm and i took him out christmas shopping (again shopping for presents i know!), the funniest part was that we started shopping at citylink and suntec (AGAIN HAHA! i was just there yesterday i need to stop influencing people to meet me a cityhall mrt xD batchie if you are reading this: we need to kick this habit! HAHA).
we went to so many places to shop that day i think we're insane. citylink, suntec, heeren, paragon... where else? we were so surprised that sean barely complained, and he even attempted to 'entertain' us (by showing us another side of him, image gone sean!) which was kind of a success cos cherm and i couldn't stop laughing afterwards! xD

i was walking all day since 1230 and barely got a chance to sit down (other than lunch) so i was dead beat when i finally met miss lim at 313 at 7. 6 hours of walking omg! i ws so tired and hungry!!! mommy, the brother, and miss lim's mom joined us at aston's prime at centrepoint later on (i think i still prefer aston's specialties, the one with very delicious grilled chicken).
we ordered so much that night! 2 crab cakes (it was really good!), a salad to share, 2 steaks, salmon, grilled hallibut and more.. but it was a really fun night, just eating and talking to miss lim. like jessica mentioned before, good food better company! :)
we were stuffed to the brim cos we ordered too much (as usual) but we still went for haagen dazs afterwards hehe!
i can't believe i've known her since i was 8, which makes it a decade now! :) i love you miss lim, you're the bestest piano teacher anyone can ever have! ♥
THURSDAY
christmas eve was with mommy, and we watched sherlock holmes. the queue at tm was insanely long (past ajisen even) so i called the brother to book tickets for us from home. i think it was quite a good movie, i wouldn't mind going for it again haha. i guess cos i love shows with witty dialogue from the olden eras, like potc! and i have to brag about how i thought during the movie that sherlock's soundtrack could be from hans zimmer and i was right! :D
FRIDAY
we had dim sum for lunch then i met batchie at tanah merah for our yearly christmas exchange! :D thanks for your present batchieee i love it! i'm gg to wind it before i sleep every night. i love you batchie dear! ♥
christmas with the family! :) we had dim sum for lunch and spent a lazy day at home. my dad actually watches drama serials with us HAHAHA (he was actually watching full house with me on new year's day and asked "what time does it end? i need to go somewhere soon." omg?!)
then we had a feast for dinner at kim choo, a place that serves really yummy peranakan food.

just the 4 of us mommy daddy weijun and me at the dining table, talking and stuffing ourselves full is the best feeling ever to me. i love spending family time! ♥
i realised that my christmas feasts had nothing to do with christmas foods (cos daddy isn't a fan of western and we were too stuffed from aston's that day haha).
it kinda looks like snow doesn't it? :)
