i'm 1/3 way through sem2 already, so fast right! assignments are due soon ohnoo... i can't wait for my mid sem break, it's 2 weeks this time and i hope mommy can come visit me then. :D best news i've heard since i came back to melbourne: I PASSED MY GRADE 8 PIANO EXAM OMGGGGG! :DDDDDD i was high at midnight last thurs when ms lim called me hehehehe. i can teach piano now in dec if i want to, so cool right! :)

jiayang's birthday BBQ in winter! haha, we were all freezing our asses off during the BBQ at verve, but it was good fun actually. there was loads of yummy food and the guys did most the BBQ-ing, which explains why we hid in the indoor swimming pool to camwhore HEHE. :D i love BBQs~
our random 'breakfast' dinner. cherm cooked this for me last sunday! it was our dinner, but it kind of reminded us of breakfast. (but who ever has time to prepare such a scrumptious breakfast?!!) haha. i lovee the colours of the food! the scrambled eggs and foccacia bread was really good. i am lucky to have a good cook around the house! :D
jap dinner last night after 6 hours of shopping at DFO. i love sales! i had the salmon bento while cherm had katsu curry bento. the bento had tofu (which was so crispy on the outside and soft on the inside), salad (i'm in love with jap mayo now), gyoza, entree, grilled salmon/curry and rice. it was so yummy, best bento i ever had! plus we were starving so the food tasted extra delicious! :)

the 4 of us cooked paella for pot luck at jeff's 2 weeks ago, shall post pictures of it when i get them from cherm.
watched "the Ugly Truth" with cherm, heng leong, sean and ruizhen last friday. the chick flick was really niceee, totally worth watching. then ruizhen left to meet her brother while the rest of us had dinner at a thai restaurant. i loveeee tom yum soup, can't wait for heng leong/ryan to cook it for me during our postponed cooking day. :)
i still want to watch "My Sister's Keeper", "Overheard", "UP", "September Issue".. more movies to come. :D
time seems to be flying past this sem. so many birthday celebrations, movie outings, activities, assignments.. there's so much to do but so little time. but i'm quite happy to be busy, cos then i won't have time to feel homesick. :)
shall hit the gym tmr with cherm and jasmine, then we'll have to start out a/c assignment, aww man. the weekend is going to be over AGAIN.. shall go off to bed now, it's past 2 omg whatever happened to sleeping early? :/
