Hello from Texas
Well, needless to say, it's been a while since I last updated my LJ.
Starting with the most obvious thing. I moved to Dallas, Texas. Christopher finally got a job close to his chosen profession. He seems to really like it and his supervisors like him. So, it's a good thing. The Lord definitely provides!
We moved from Florida at the end of July. Jon and I flew up to Pittsburgh to get our stuff from storage and drive it down. We had such a good time. We rented a brand new Camaro. We called her Kelly. She was that pretty burnt orange color and was absolutely a dream to drive. We also got to experience Arkansas, the arm pit of the nation. There's nothing really redeeming about that state. I will however mention that we did not drive through the Ozarks, which I would expect to be beautiful.
Tonight we finally collapsed the last of the boxes! Hallelujah! We went from a condo in Florida that was about 1,200 sq. ft. to an apartment that is 992 sq. ft. A little bit of downsizing...Everything fits except for our sofa which is residing in my sister-in-law's garage.
Hmmm...what else....let's see. I found all of the pictures from my trip to Germany with Stephanie and Becky. Such good times. I really miss all of our adventures. We really had fun wherever we went.
We've started looking for a new church. I'm hoping to find one with a good chunk of people our age. It'd be nice to find some people to hang out with.
I miss my Florida friends :(
And I just found the coolest pair of cowboy boots. They are brown with a pink inlay...very cool looking.
