Many people, especially locals, have heard this story.
Yeah, we're a part of the whole snafu. Now I need to eloquently and compellingly write our reason why we want/need the house and, as it must be said in 20 words or less, I must write something concise. I don't see how "we'd like to own a home before we're 50 but the economy isn't going to let that happen", "we need a place where we can take care of an aging parent, and a second floor apartment isn't doing it", "I want a place where I can have a garden" or even "it would be so cool if our dog could actually have a yard to run in before she dies" could win out over homes lost to fire and mortgage fiasco foreclosures. The scary feeling of having your home tied so closely to your employment has merit, but I don't know if I can put it in 20 words or less.
