 OMGs!!!! Best birthday in ages---or oddest, maybe. Both. Definitely both.

Birthdays should always include

1. Good friends
2. New friends
3. Good food
4. Laughter
5. a little weeping
6. Hugs
7. Spending an entire afternoon thawing out (and brushing an inch of snow off every surface from the electric stove to the first aid kit) and cleaning a frozen campground kitchen in preparation of feeding several dozen people from it
8. Hacking paths through 5 foot high snow mounds
9. Fresh snow
10. More fresh snow
11. Wow! It's snowing again!
12. Being outside in northern Michigan in February for, literally, 10 hours
13. Using a portapotty in northern Michigan in February
14. Bonfires
15. Jello shots and cocoa with schnapps (or Bailey's)
16. a crazy cobbled together sound system from hell that sounds heavenly
17. dancing with girls
18. sharing a bedroom with both your husband and your first love (excuse me. Minds out of the gutter,please---or leave them there if you like, but it was innocent. Darn it??)
19. spending your birthday morning cooking breakfast for friends new and old (and including a grammy winning musician) on a nearly century old wood stove in the wonderful welcoming kitchen of a century old farmhouse

So much more, but that should pique your interest until I've had a little sleep---and caught up on the Sunday Morning/Birthday sex that should have happened except for #18 .
