A dark shadow silently slipped through the woods. The crisp autumn leaves were stirred up by his passing yet made no sound. His long black traveling cloak swirled out behind him as he hastened to his destination.
The thick foliage ahead finally showed the faint glow that told of a warm fire in the distance. He sped up his pace in hopes of reaching the warmth the glow promised all the sooner. Breaking through the underbrush, he stepped out into the clearing and stopped.
A merry fire crackled in the center of the grove of trees. A soft futon was made up on one side of the fire with a tall pile of cozy blankets. The other side of the fire revealed another blanket spread out with a feast laid out upon it.
Warm mulled wine filled the air with its spicy aroma and the roasted pheasant looked so plump and juicy that his mouth watered. Even the roasted potatoes looked delectable on their skewers. The only thing missing in the perfect seen was his lover.
Two hands slipped around his waist from behind and moist heat brushed his neck, sending tremors down his back and legs. “What took you so long Kakashi?” his lover asked with his sexy deep voice.
“Kakashi grinned behind his mask, “Well ya see, there was this little old lady and….”
Having heard the same old excuse a thousand times, the blond felt no remorse at shutting his old teacher up with a well-placed bite to the neck. Kakashi moaned deep in his throat. “That is cheating Naru-Koi!”
Naruto smirked against his love’s neck, “Isn’t it though?” He grabbed the Jounin by the hand and led him over to the meal.
Kakashi looked around for utensils or chopsticks but was puzzled when none were found. He turned to his partner for an explanation only to find said partner holding a strip of meat up with his fingers. Kakashi couldn’t hold back the smile as he began to understand. He quickly removed the dark fabric from his face and obediently opened his mouth.
Naruto placed the tender morsel onto the pink tongue displayed before him and allowed his fingers to linger on the plump lips. Kakashi took great delight in sucking the tasty juices from his Hokage’s finger tips. Leaning forward, Kakashi nuzzled the cheek he loved so well before offering a fluffy peace of potato to the blond.
They ate in this way for a lot longer than any meal should take. Feeding each other and cuddling close. There was nothing so much sexual about their play as there was concern and care. They’d been working so hard that they desperately missed intimate time with each other. A quick tumble was always easy to accomplish here and there but it had been months since they spent time just being in love with each other.
When the meal was finished, they moved to the warm bed that Naruto had had the foresight to place heated stones in earlier. Stripping down as fast as they could, each man scurried into the waiting warmth with a lot of shivering. Kakashi reclined back with a hand behind his head and Naruto curled up to his side with his head on Kakashi’s shoulder and Kakashi’s other arm around him.
Moving only to rub against each other in a comforting way, the lovers watched the crackling fire all through the night. “I love you and other sweet words randomly uttered left them feeling far warmer than any fire ever could.
Both knew that the next morning would bring a long list of things that needed doing with it and so they basked in the moment. Saving up a perfect memory now was their only hope for sanity in the future!
