When this has happened in the past (yes, it has), Dan said he didn't think we could still be friends. He didn't explain why, but I think it's because he loves me so much, it would hurt to see me but not be with me?

I've always heard Kelly and Geena talk about how happy you guys make each other, so I'm really sorry to hear that it's not working out--breaking up is such a painful process. Although, it's definitely good that you've realized this now, I think that's a hard thing to realize and come to grips with.

btw, I know you've mentioned a few times that you wish you had more friends to hang out with. I don't know what your plans are after you guys break up, so I don't know if you'll be sticking around in Orange County, but if you are sticking around and ever want to hang out, let me know.
