merry something or other
x-mass was nice. it was the perfect low-key wind-down after a hectic weekend. it's always fun to have out of town friends visit. but it takes a lot out of me. i was brought up to value good hostessing skills. i can't help it; i have to make sure each and every second of said friend's visit is accounted for.
i think geoff had a good time. we went dancing at rotturre. i took him to my fave hipster bar, tube. we had a yummy breakfast at jr's. we watched a million hours of ab fab. we sang out little hearts out at karaoke. (see pics bellow.) we didn't go on a hike, or make it to mt hood, but we did spend a fab afternoon x-mass shopping. we watched a bergman film. and he even managed to score a date! he told me he was moving here in the spring. we'll see. there is still no sign of ellie or john, all their promises notwithstanding.
i spent x-mass day at chris's. we had the perfect white trash x-mass: left over KFC and gas station ice cream sandwiches. we are so so classy. we watched a gazillion movies and watched the snow. it was pretty boring and oh so perfect.
