- i watched "antichrist" late last night and couldn't fall asleep for hours afterward. i didn't like it but it won't leave me alone. ian fell asleep 30 minutes in and i'm incapable of organizing my thoughts without dialogue. i'd love to start a small weekly "movie club". we'd watch the same movie separately then discuss it over a beer. i'd love to add 6 hours to a day.
- after 15 years of blow dryers and hair irons, i stopped straightening my hair. now i look like a timid housewife from the 1930s.

- it's almost time to compile the annual holiday mix. inevitably "soft as snow (but warm inside)" will end up on it. some habits never die.
