Feeling the need...
I've got a need for a vacation. I'm not going to get one until DragonCon (not a real one at least)
I've got a few days off scheduled and a couple of afternoons, but honestly, getting your mammogram should not be considered a "day off". I need several days of flat-out R&R, but I just don't see that happening. sigh. Things are awfully busy here at work, what with Summer Reading Program and all that. Plus the batch of people who haven't been in the building since last summer and therefore had no idea that they owe us a ton of money from the books they were super late with last year. That is a special thing, let me tell you.
I've also got several piping jobs coming up. We're playing at Pisgah Brewing in Black Mt. this coming Saturday. It's a fun little Celtic festival and there's good beer (always a plus) I'm playing the usual memorial service gig next weekend at Lake Junaluska, followed in a week or so by the 4th of July parade and the Grandfather Mt. Highland Games. After that I can rest. :)
