Eventful Event
I have to say I had a great time at Nottinghill's Natal Day celebration this past weekend. I will say that the wind was absolutely wicked and kept me from staying outside more, but it was still just lovely. I got to see a lot of Hawkwood's fighters doing their thing (and winning!). I'm sorry I didn't stay for feast, but Rhi and I were pretty darn tired by the end of the day and I just wanted to go home.
We got home at a decent hour, which was good since we also had a Baronial dinner out last night. We had about 20 people attend, which was wonderful, and the food was pretty awesome too. I'll certainly keep the place in mind to go eat again--even if it was in Sylva.
Looking ahead to the rest of the week, it's shaping up to be pretty busy. Tonight is band rehearsal, tomorrow night I'm going to see "Flogging Molly" downtown (yay!), then a meeting at church, choir practice on Thursday and Friday I can veg in front of the TV. Saturday I'll be giving some platelets and then I'll have pipe band practice on Sunday--then it starts all over again the next week.
whew. I need some sleep!
