Kamakazi Chef Halloween Party
Last Sunday night, my friend Colleen (vandygirl ) came to our house hosted her first traveling Kamikaze party. She's done them before at home, but this was the first one she had done at another person's house. A Kamikaze chef party is a dinner where the attendees are told to bring a protein, starch, veggie, etc. but don't tell Colleen exactly what they are bringing. Once everyone arrives, Colleen has to put a meal together using what she brings along with her plus the items that the guests bring. We had such a great time!! I thought I would share some pictures and a few details. There was soooo much good food and the kids had the best time playing and making Halloween crafts. My Mom couldn't be there, but helped out by helping me get some new decorations and put together Halloween crafts and Halloween Bingo with prizes for the kids. My friend Rachel and her family were our guests. Colleen brought her friend Kristin to be her sous chef and in addition to helping out in the kitchen all of these lovely pictures were taken by her.
