three plants and the rain.
i am really enjoying this rain. it is so smooth and clean and calm and refreshing. everything is green and smells nice. it feels like everything is slow and taken down a notch. i like it.
i have three plants now. miette. sonia. elephant. miette because i really like the name and also i had recently watched city of lost children when i had inherited her. sonia because she has the cockadoodle doo song from gummo on her my space and that made me laugh for days. and elephant because matty named her. he probably named her that because she is a big, huge, pink jasmin plant that hangs over her basket looking like several lazy trunks. i love the way little kids see things. my son is brilliant.
i am going to keep these plants alive.
in former years, i have failed miserably at keeping plants alive. this is the year of change for me.
plus, i am a very responsible person these days, what with being the mother of a three year old and all. i can do it.
