Title: Tick Tock Rating: G-ish/mild PG Characters: Mels, Amelia, Rory Wordcount: ~700 Disclaimer: I don’t own Doctor Who. Summary: ‘She can see the ripples she’s causing.’ A/N: Spoilers up to, and including, LKH.
Fantastic job fleshing out such a sketchily-drawn character and period in the Pond family's life. I've had a hard time deciding what to make of her, but you've managed to give a picture that's both sympathetic and disturbing and also quite real. I'm also rather enamored of this style of fic you've developed with all these wispy, dream-like snatches of moments that build up a picture of everything that's going on very economically. It's like impressionism or something : )
Also, Mels always getting to be the TARDIS when they play dolls! Lol.

It's like impressionism or something Oh, I like that! Tbh, I'm always reallyclose to adding an A/N apologising for the lack of, well, actual prose, but then I tell myself it's a style. /cool story
The TARDIS is clearly the best one! (Also it occasionally lands on the Doctor. Purely by accident, of course.)

But would tell you (and myself, if I had any sense) that that's silly and it's a perfectly good way of writing and people can just deal with it : )

At first I was a little let down and felt like it was lightweight and didn't give as much time to some things as I wanted it to (especially Amy and Rory getting resolution on loosing their baby), even if I was ultimately satisfied with the whole. But starting to dig through it a bit . . . yeah, it's amazing <3
