The Southwest continues to piss me off.
No, not Southwest the airline - as they pissed me off long ago and never again will I wait in line for an g-d unreserved airline seat like freakin' cattle. It's worth the 30 bucks to me to not get elbowed in the face by an over-zealous road warrior. I mean, I fly enough and am insanely impatient and still manage to not be that obnoxious. I think. I do hate slow walkers in the middle of the hall though - seriously, it's like driving - you want to go slow? Fine by me, just stay to the right.
Anyway, I digress. It's not airlines or slow walkers that are making me mad this morning - its Sen. John Ensign of Nevada. Between him and that twat Sen. Kyl, I'm about to make the whole southwest one BIG solar farm. Funny how gun control is a state issue for them but not for DC. This amendment is missing the whole point of self-representation. WE get to decide what's best for US you pig-brained, power-hungry twit! I'm sure he's completely unaware of the hypocritical nature of such an amendment, but then again, so are all of the "the only moral abortion is my abortion" crowd. Morons.

In happier news, The Post (and the rest of DC) is still obsessed with what the First Family is doing about town. No more reports on what the Obama girls are getting for lunch, at least, but we are getting news of who Michelle Obama has lunch with. Eleanor Holmes Norton, that's who! I would have paid to listen in on that conversation. They seem like fun.
It's also match day, so I find out in a few hours who I get for new interns. Crossing my fingers for ones I don't have to yell at! Good luck!
