Well I'm glad I'm not the only person who watched Sherlock and went 'Bzuh?' when he claimed that he was a sociopath, rather than a psychopath. What with a) the fact that a sociopath and psychopath are THE SAME THING, and b) that he shows a whole ton of emotions and humanity that sort of undermine his claim in its entirety.

I was wondering if anybody was ever going to point this out. I'm glad they did. Anyway I always figured the whole 'I'm a sociopath!' thing was just Sherlock blowing smoke, so he could get away with more stuff. And ffs he cried. We saw him cry. How would that fit at all? I kinda hope that it all turns out to be a characterization thing--he lies about it because of REASONS and then proceeds to act in completely non-sociopathic ways. I'm sure he's concealing some deep inner trauma or something, and that's why he does it.
