The feeling sorry for myself update...
Ugh. I have a cold. I'm sure this is the worst cold I've ever had, although I probably say that every year. This one comes complete with blocked sinuses, popping ears, headache, running eyes and a throat that feels like I've swallowed razor blades. It's been nearly a week now and it just. won't. go. Bleh.
What else... I'm now 20,000 words in to NaNoWriMo, which isn't bad for a week, but is still 14,000 words behind where I was this time last year. The story is actually stretching out better than I thought it would, but it's a struggle to make myself sit down and write 3000 words every day. Especially this week as I feel like hiding under the duvet cover with a hot water bottle and never coming out! And look, I'm posting here when I still have 2500 words left to write this afternoon!
