Here to kill some time waiting for 2.30am to come which is when I'm supposed to register my classes for exchange. I really hate the whole time difference thing, makes it hard to connect with people in different time zones! ):
So I turned 20 a few days ago, which is actually rather depressing. I am now officially old. But oh well, I suppose it's the start of an exciting new decade for me, during which I will hopefully become more mature and independent. Let's just say it's been a pretty good start so far, learning to let go of certain things and not bearing silly grudges. Makes life much easier for myself too.
Work has more or less settled into a routine. For 5 hours each time, I will generally be standing at the info counter, flipping through a magazine or talking to anyone else at the counter; shelving books around the store, etc etc. Time passes pretty fast and I have quite a lot of time to stone and think about things. My most hated job of all definitely goes to helping out at the kids' section. I've never really liked kids and working there just makes me want to tear out their guts (and the parents' as well).
I realise I probably should make a proper plan for my future. Need to stop thinking that I can go on leading such an aimless life 5 years down the road. The tragedy of the lost generation indeed.
