Just to let you know...
I got the Mercedes Matter Scholarship for Painting!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You know, as much as people are like oh you're gonna get it, it still shocked the hell out of me to actually GET it.
I mean you're competing with how many students...SO MUCH OLDER than me, and the faculty chose little me.
Its kind of like that feeling when you know you're decent at something and then the 'professionals' just reaffirm that for you...my confidence just got a major boost!
I guess now I just need to decide if i can afford to do this program. After all its a lot of time, but it would be worth it times a million. I mean I'll finally get to study the human figure...formally, with experienced artists and whatnot. And even after that its painting...which would be the perfect introduction for this upcoming semester. Donise wouldn't know what to do with me!!! Seriously, that would be pretty SICK!
Other than that...freshman year went by so quickly and it really is remarkable how much I've grown and how much things have changed. I'm going to London in a few weeks. Omg...London...wow...
And yeah, I mean there seem to be so many opportunities coming up...Japan anyone? Italy for a semester...Spain hopping?! Omg...
But gotta run to the graduation party for Anthony....
