Fruit, good... cake, great... fruit cake, nasty crap.

So... it's finals week, and how prepared am I?
Yeah. About that.

Since Wednesday I've been studying for history and italian, and I have yet to start criminology and theology. Which is probably what I'm going to be working on tomorrow morning/afternoon, and then go back to history and italian that night. My finals are on Thursday and Friday, so I have the start of this week to study more, which is good.

Yesterday I spent most of the day studying, and then went back to Tim's to watch the Cubs game (they lost). But when he was walking me home, when we got to Cobeen, he turned to me and asked me if I wanted to go on a walk with him. He had his bike, and I had my big bag full of notebooks, so he put my bag on and rode next to me as we walked through the quad... he showed me the perfect picnic spot, we smelled the flowers, ran away from the sprinklers... and then we decided to go sit in front of Joan of Arc and look at the fountain. So I got really excited because the ugly Pere Marquette statue was lit up and hideous, and the tupips were all closed, and so I jumped up on the big circular bench going around the outside of the fountain and was playing around, and Tim jumped up on the other side of me and tried to chase me around, but I switched directions, and he decided it'd be fun to try and jump across to my side.
Needless to say, he fell into the fountain.
But aside from the wetness, it was one of the best nights of my life. We danced outside the church, and at 2am he walked me home.

I wish I could do fun stuff like that every night, instead of studying. Gahhgh.
Finals week is a bastard.

What if finals week was here? He'd be laughing, but on the inside he'd be crying...
