In tomorrow's Art and Architecture lesson that I'll be observing, I'm teaching the first five minutes of it. o.0 Frances says it'll look brilliant in my interview (which is on FRIDAY OH GOD) and I'm not quite scared yet, but I am a little worried, not having studied A and A in four years. I have made a little handout though - I'm basically gonna introduce a bronze statue, ask them to identify 3 things that make it realistic, 3 that make it unrealistic, if they find it imposing and which god they think it is. They'll do that in groups of 2 or whatever then I'll get them to discuss their answers with me. AGH TEACHING 18 YEAR OLDS. Wish me luck, I haven't done anything remotely like this before - observing and teaching are two very different things!
