THANK YOU so much for this post because I have to write a Critical Theory paper about the Tempest and Foucault. Therefore I have to talk about power relations. I could talk about Calibans uncivilized way of trying to regain his own power by "populating the island with Calibans" through his attempted rape of Miranda.
It is an interesting device we subconciously use as humans. Enforcing our personal beliefs through our children. The more children we have the more likely our ideolgies and power will survive.
Funny though that this article talks about religion and how we'll be even more the religous majority but it doesn't mention how "white" America is soon becoming the minority and who did the majority of "white" America vote for? I would hazard a guess that it was Bush.
