The search continues.....

The ongoing quest to find a full-time job is still ever stressful and ever annoying, but I got an email yesterday that may show prospects and had a phone interview early this afternoon while I had hair dye in my hair (more on that in a moment) and both show promise, but only time will tell to see what happens from here. I'm still searching the Internet and the newspaper like a mad woman, but all the while I am trying stay ever positive that something will come up soon. With all of this too, I've had a few anxiety attacks the past few days and I swear each time I have one of those I really get freaked out and have another one.

Anyway, so on to other things. What has this week brought so far besides the search. Monday night after a stressful day of searching I went out to dinner with my parents to PF Changs over in Easton. Dinner was delicious as always, probably far too filling, but still it was good and I got my chinese food fix in. Tuesday I had lunch with Leslie. Tuesday was also the day I had a series of anxiety attacks before going to pick her up. I got a letter in the mail that I thought was rejecting me from the job I really still want to get, but in fact it wasn't that, but still all the while I freaked out. Lunch was wonderful and no stress, plus we headed to Starbucks afterward where I got my usual chai so my mood seriously changed. Plus Breana had called to tell me about a possible job opportunity too so that made things all the better. After that it was off to run some errands which included finding some new bedding for my room which I LOVE!!! I got my haircut, very short I must add, then headed off to Bob Evans to join Tricia for dinner. Dinner was very good, filling, but good, and it kept me out of the apartment even longer. Then I had to drop by CVS to pick up my prescription for Wednesday. Plus I had talks with Leslie, Breana, Regina, and Shannon on the phone.

Wednesday, I woke up far too early for my own liking- 5:45 am, don't ask me why, it just happened. I had to go to the doctor for my birth control shot and I sat in that office forever. Here's what pisses me off and makes me question some things. I don't have health insurance at the moment yet I paid $12.10 for my visit to get my injection. Prior to this my co-pay used to be $30-$40 AND I used to get billed about the same amount too, so I'm just baffled by all of this and somewhat nerved. Anywho, I stopped over at my parents house afterward and started a load of laundry on my comforter and one of the other blankets from my bed just so I could have them nice and clean, oh and soft too. :) Anyway, mom and I headed out to lunch over at the Worthington Inn. It wasn't too bad, but I guess the food could have been a bit better. After that we did a little shopping and I picked up some extra groceries for Saturday's girls night over here and took mom to the library. I found some books on the Holocaust that I'm now reading-- remind me to never have 4 books going at once, but oh well. I got home and took a nap on the couch- this lasted about an hour and a half, then made Regina's recipe for chicken-- YUM! Then I was on the phone with Breana for over an hour, chatted with Amanda a little bit online, and got a message from Eric.

Today, it's been a quiet one mostly, well somewhat I guess. I chatted with Brandon for about an hour and a half this morning about all kinds of random stuff and he learned of my anxiety attacks, to which I hope he doesn't worry. Anywho, I had to pick 3 lotto numbers since he's going to play down in Florida and if I win I get to pick out my car. Plus we talked of taking a few trips together if we won- Hawaii, Italy, and Ireland made the list and it was just a bit shocking to talk about that, but nice at the same time. I've talked with him a lot more than I would have thought lately, but he asks always about the job search and is providing that encouraging support that makes me happy. So needless to say it was a nice chat, and he voted on what my hair color should be. Which voting closed and it was a unanimous decision... my hair is now Chocolate Caramel which is a medium golden mahogany brown. It looks good and I can totally see the change. Anyway, while I was doing that I had a phone call and it turned out to be a mini phone interview for a company called "See Ya There" so we'll see if that pans out or not. Plus I just got a package at my door about 15 minutes or so ago. My brother mailed me his PS2 so I now have 3 gaming systems in my apartment. This will be fun, so my next task is going to be trying to get the cords un-knotted and get things set up.

So, yeah that's that. My life hasn't been too exciting, but hopefully I'll have some really good news to report soon. Oh and since I'm having my girls night this weekend I'll get some new pictures posted so all can see the new color and cut I did. Anywho, time to un-knot those cords and maybe head out for a bit.

Til next time :)
