Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!
Ok First off. Soooo sorry for falling off the face of the Earth. I have just been taking on too much crap right now.
First of all classes:
Not going so well. One class I hate and I hate the teacher. So of course I can't do so well in that class. One class I have NO IDEA what kind of drugs my teacher was on. She does this weird random laughter thing when everyone in the class is just thinking WTF? But she does make us go to the Opera and to plays (for free) and that’s fun. Oh and then there is Econ 371. I think Econ can be interesting and the concept is not that hard. Its just the names of people and exactly what they did and all the other names of theories (even ones that we prove wrong in class??). But Spanish is going well! And I really like my teacher this semester.
Some good news!! I will be gone for sure next year in London and then Spring Germany. I would love it if people came and visited me!
Oh LOTS of music for people. I’m just in the middle of converting my music from itunes format to mp3. Just so people know my iPod decided to die. For no reason (I didn't drop it or do anything) the screen was just white and wouldn't turn off. I took it to the apple store and the people there told me I was out of luck. So now I have a great paper weight. So in retaliation against apple I got . . . a Toshiba Gigabeat!!! I love it. And it loves me. Can't wait to show everyone.
Another bad thing: I need to get my glasses fixed. I put my glasses down on the table (I know, dumb) at work and left to get lunch. I came back to find them face down on the lenses and a scratch on the right lens. I'm a little sad about that but not much can be done. I'll just wait until summer to get them fixed.
So I just got back from a long ass road trip. For Spring Break I went to California. Yes. Me. Who hates the sun. But starting the week before I started feeling a little sick and before I knew it, it was the week before Spring Break and mid terms were upon me. Needless to say I kept pushing off to visit the doctor so I could study for my two midterms and so I could write an essay. I went in last Friday after my tests to find out I had strep. It was one of the worst colds I have had in a long time. The Friday I found out I had strep was the day I was supposed to get in a car with four other girls to drive down to California.
In the end I flew down to San Fran on Sunday ( so I only missed the road trip down to SF). The only problem about flying is that is screwed up my ears. I couldn't really hear the entire day. But still SF was AMAZING. I loved it so much. The city is beautiful. I saw some of the most amazing cars there too. I just loved the feeling that the city had. The only complaint I had was the public transportation. That first day we saw two accidents. One with a trolley and another with a bus. Plus the Bart (sort of like the T) was slow and cost a lot.
From San Fran we drove down to Santa Barbara. One of the most relaxing places ever. The main street had a lot of really cool places to shop at and the beach was really close. I even went on a whale watching boat. We saw a whale and later on the dolphins came and swam in front of the sail boat. On the sail boat it was just me and six friends and three people from Sweden. So it was really nice! Also while we were in SB we got to drive around in a convertible (with the top down in the sun!)
So over all the trip was great. The only problem was driving back. It took us forever!! I don't think I will go on another road trip for a long time.
Hmm I don’t like to end on such a bad note.
So some good news is that there’s only about 2 months left of school!!!
I can't wait for this summer.
Dani I want to make some skirts and dresses. So I am hoping you will help me. I'll ask my grandma for some patterns (I'm sure she has some old school/cool designs we could use)
Elyse I have failed. I have not watched Lost!! EEEK! I think I am over it though. Right now I am into Heroes. Its an interesting show and they know how to make you keep watching.
Alex when do you think you will come back out to the Seattle area? I miss you and I wouldn't mind hanging out some weekend.
Kali finally you watched the OB video! Remember that plan of mine that I had a long time ago? About how to woo the man of my dreams? Well that video just goes to show I was right!
