Thanks to frolijah_fan_54, my J/E-shipping, delusional nutbag self was given a hearty treat...
According to this article, wherein Lij talks about 'Wilfred', he was asked:
"You obviously have fans from your film roles, but do people approach you now to talk about Wilfred?"
His answer: Totally, which is incredibly refreshing. We'll walk around and we have people that recognize us from Wilfred and people that have insights and thoughts about the show - they are avid watchers, and I'm actually quite surprised by the different kinds of people that love the show.
Aw, good to see! But I'd wondered through reading this here message, 'Why did FF54 send this along with such OMFG LOOK-ness? I mean, I like 'Wilfred' too, and I--'
I actually ran into Josh Hartnett last month - who I haven't seen in years - and he said that he and his girlfriend are huge fans of the show, so it has this wide appeal which I kind of take for granted, because I don't really think about who's watching necessarily.

Because we ALL KNOW that Lij and Josh have lots and lots of sex, and have been dedicated partners since 2004/5. I'd say 1998, when they'd filmed the Fac, but there was that weird period of time when they had that one big, nasty fight, which led to them (more Lij, breaking Josh's heart) sniping at each other in secret-code through reporters/interviews/etc. (ie, Lij's trashing 'Pearl Harbor'. That one HURT). But when they bumped into each other on the 'Sin City' set, they realized how blind an stupid they'd been, denying each other's intense attraction an love for each other. By that time, Lij had been in a secret tryst with Dom, but Josh didn't mind. So really, it's been threebie-♥ + ♥ + ♥ since.
Or maybe I like the idea so much I've created an alternate reality where this is the truth and won't be swayed YAY FOR J/E and/or J/E/D, MAY IT LIVE FOREVER MOAR! Thanks so much for perpetuating my madness, frolijah_fan_54!!!!
