(no subject)
It's been a huge par-tay weekend for us. I can't go into a big post about it as yet ANOTHER fugging storm is rolling in (it's been really terrible the last few weeks; one even ended up closing Gavs' school down for a day since the roads to it were trashed), but here's a tidbit Pan overheard at the birthday party of one of Gavs' classmates we went to today...
(Scene: Slip N' Slide, 10+ kids. Gavs would rather walk down than slide like the others)
Boy: (says something to one of the girls that Pan couldn't hear)
Girl: He's autistic. You can't make fun of him.
I almost cried. I'm thinking of writing a special note and sending it to school with him and hope they pass it to the girl's parents, telling them how sweet and kind their daughter is.
