Well, we have to stay at my parents tonight. Why? Because of that goddamned tree, that's why. There's another huge windstorm picking up outside, big time, and Gene (park manager) called us to say that he talked to the owner to say that he's concerned that someone could get hurt/killed by that tree should it fall, and it looks like it WILL. The assholes said, "oh, we'll reimburse them for motel fees", not realizing that hey, we're shit poor and don't HAVE that money. Luckily my parents are having us stay the night. But I can't express how pissed and upset I am right now. Our cats had to stay--our friends next door said they could take 'em in if something happened, but still.
Anything happens and we're suing so hard the owners will have to file for fucking bankruptcy. They KNEW about this problem, but since they took their sweet-assed time fixing our road and it wasn't finished, the trucks needed to come in and take care of the tree COULDN'T, because it would have torn up the half-finished road up. So nice--that's what our money's gone into with that fucking pit. Goddamned bastards, EVERY owner's been a money-hungry bastard that tries to get a free ride, thinking that the place is a gold mine and not taking care of our place. I'm sick of it. I want out so fucking bad.
