Omg, Gavs is singing 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow'. It's on the Muppet Show DVD we have that he's currently obsessing over. But he gets to "way up..." then he starts making weird mumbles, though. Maybe it's from the preview, instead of the show itself. :P Who knows.

We brought him to his first dental appointment today, too. It went better than expected; he still needed me to hold him on my lap, take his arms and Pan take his other arm and still his legs, but it wasn't a severe meltdown. Just VERY resistant and angry! Had a pit in my stomach driving there, and I forewarned the people that he would NOT go without a fight. It's so hard sometimes, when your child doesn't even know why you brush his teeth, never mind have people stick gloved hands, fingers, metal-moving-mirrored-mechanical instruments, etc. in his mouth. Though he didn't seem to MIND the gloved fingers running over his teeth. Sensory thing, really.

But whether HE likes it or not, I won't mind taking him. His dentist is so freakin' HOT. I was expecting someone like MY old dentist, who looked 60 at 40. THIS guy, Dr. Matthews (*giggles for no good reason*) is almost 40, but he looks 25! I commented to the hygienist, "Wow, he's young!" and she was all, "Oh, no... well, maybe I shouldn't say..." but she told us he was in his very late thirties. Me and Pan joked about it in the car.

Pan: I'll bet he gets a LOT of moms going with their kids. 'Oh, it's okay, honey, I'll take her to the dentist!'
Me: Yea, and I'll bet the dads take one look at him and say, 'Oh, it's okay, honey--I'LL take her to the dentist'.

Hee.
