All right. Enough is enough.
I've tried everything; I've had Sean and Josh sit together to play chess, eat dinner together, talk, apologize... and in the last twenty minutes of game play, it didn't matter at ALL. Sean came up and started poking Josh, even though their friendship stats went into the positive ranges. Then Josh returned the sentiment... and I dunno how, seeing as it was a LOT shorter than the last few days of their fighting, but... they're complete and total enemies.
It's time to end the madness, I say. I propose that the BOYS try to propose to Lij.
Here's the criteria:
*Josh and Sean will NOT stop fighting. The more they hang around with Lij, the more anxious and upset they get with each other. I could have 'em talk and apologize and what not to DEATH, and it won't matter.
*Sean is officially depressed-- the reason? He's the most socially awkward person I've worked with in my entire Sim experience. He'd ended up getting a visit from "The Psychiatrist Fairy" thingee, because his aspirations had plummeted to the lowest point. After that visit, I tried having him throw a party, invite a friend over, meet new people in town to socialize. It didn't matter. Out of the four people he invited, one showed up. He tried hanging out with her, but she wasn't too keen to have fun with him. When he called her the next day to have her over, she denied him completely, thus having his aspirations plummet again. I took him out to town, and once again, bombed with his interactions with people. He's not successful whatsoever with having friends and keeping them. Even Lij gets negative signs when Sean makes jokes with him, though he IS fond of Sean. I just don't know if it's enough.
*Josh is very attuned to his own needs, but while he's not as depressed as Sean, he gets VERY jealous when Sean and Lij interact. He's been starting fires when he tries to cook, at least two or three times now. Sean has too, only once; I'm not sure, but I think they might've lost cooking points in their depression. It can happen, but I haven't kept track of their skill levels so much. Sean *starts* most of the fighting, but Josh will come back at him ten-fold. He won't stop going after Sean when the ball gets rolling.
So take this poll. I think it's time.
