Part II
“Yeah, I know. The weather is the worst but I have to go… I don’t want to, though.” He pouted.
He picked up a bag from the floor and went over to his desk. It stood on the opposite side of his bed beneath the window. The window was big so that enough light got into his room and upon his desk. Since it was slanted to South he got a good deal of light throughout the day which was important for his studies.
He collected all of the books from under the papers on the table and put them in his bag. All together he had ten books he had to return.
“God” he groaned. “This is heavy!”
“Woof!”
“Yeah, I know! Nobody told me to accumulate so many books and I could have given part of them back the day before yesterday but fuck! How knew it would snow so much and for all the love to whoever, we have May!” He almost screamed the last part. “Fuck, fuck, fuck!”
“Woof!”
“Not you too, Kiiro!”
“Woof!”
“Ah, well. I’m leavin’”
He turned, slang the bag over his shoulder and descended the stairs. Once he arrived he went to the closet, got the coat, put it on and bound his shoelaces.
“At least you have shoes that are made for this kind of weather.”
“Stop teasin’ me, Chi!”
“Hahaha!” He only heard the laughter ebbing as his friend returned to the couch in the living-room.
“Going now! Bye”
The door clacked when he walked out. He started walking down the path to the street when he stopped and stood still. No matter how much he hated snow, this was amazing!
“The whole town is buried under snow!”
He ran down the path and came to a halt on the way next to the street.
“Amazing!” His mouth clapped open and he didn’t even feel the wind, that was pretty strong, move along his unprotected calves.
The whole walk into to town he stopped over and over again, mourning that he didn’t bring his camera with him. He would have loved to take pictures of the city buried under snow! Maybe on the way back?
