I am not sure why, but I am a bad weather magnet.
My only vacation time of the summer, really, was the last bit of August, and that was the only crappy time of the whole summer. It was beautiful and hot the rest of the time.
I went to visit my parents for a bit and the weather then doesn't really matter I guess, but then we went to the cottage for my second time up there this year. It was amazing and sunny and blue the whole drive up, and then I crested the hill and there's a big black cloud hanging over the lake. Windy, cold, crappy. It was like that all day. Of course, when I got up the next day it was beautiful and blue, but that's when I had to leave.
I just have no luck with that place.
We're planning to buy our own.
