well, Valentine's Day is just around the corner! And so is my sister's engagement party. Eh. Gotta take the good with the bad!
I admit it. Im a sucker for Valentine's Day. Im a sucker for romantic stuff! Last year I planned it all down to a T, got him the best pressie, and i got...nothing. lol. Wonder if the same will happen this year? ;)
It's quite interesting how people perceive the whole older woman/younger man concept. It's perfectly ok for men to be older, but when the woman is, my goodness! I've been labelled everything, from a slut to desperate, all because I had the utter nerve to fall in love with someone younger than me. It interests me how, if youre a celebrity, it's accepted quite easily. (ie- Hugh Jackman and Deborah Furness for a start)
So, it begs the question...do I need to be famous before people stop calling me names? And im very tired of hearing the reason we are having problems is because of his age. Thats bullshit. Couples have problems no matter what age he/she is! In the relationships ive had, we've had problems whether he was older, younger or the same age as me.
