(no subject)
HELP!!!
I need your opinions!
Registration for summer semester is next week and I have to figure out whether I should have clinicals (hospital internship) at either one of these times:
a) from 6:30am - 2:15pm
or
b) from 12:00am - 7:15pm
It seems like an easy choice, but if I were to pick B I'd still have lecture from 8-11 ... and then straight from school I'd go to the hospital. That'd be a whole 12 hours of my day, 2xs a week (mondays and wednesdays) devoted to nursing. At least I'd get it all over with at one time though. But that's TWO WHOLE DAYS out of my week IN THE SUMMERTIME!
The summer semester is June 2- July 27.
I like that schedule because at least I'd feel energized and awake in the hospital, and because all the AM care (bed baths and stuff) would also be done.
Choice A is what I'm doing now, where the clinical and the lecture days are spread apart. It's okay, but most of my week is devoted to doing paperwork for clinicals (Paperwork takes 6 - 8 hours a night) I never even think about the lecture class until the weekend before the tests. (like this weekend). This would be a smart choice too, since I'd get my hospital shift over with first thing in the morning, and I'd still get to do something afterwards without being worn out.
Friends in LP or coming home for summer: What will you guys be doing? Will we be able to hang out? I feel like I NEED to sneak in some Me-Time for myself to hang out.
I miss a lot of people. I haven't really seen a friend since well, David came by to give me the cds he burned for me. That was like, a month ago. :(
My sister'll be coming home for a visit at the end of April...wooohooo!! I'm so excited. Too bad I have finals that weekend.
Will I study? Probably not. :(
Will I fail? Hope not!!
