The passion and love he has for Andy! Gah!!! It was so well illustrated in that scene, which I must say is a unique way to show one character's affection if you know what I mean. but that didn't make it any less powerful and/or hot. Lol.

I can't wait for the reunion between Andy and Neal!!! Oh my god, only 2 chapters left! I know they'll be great! :D

Heehee! I have to admit letting Neal loose on Gokey, if only a little, was really, really awesome to write. Outlaw!Neal deals with his emotions with anger, if he deals with them at all, so being forced to simmer over what's been arguably the most emotional event of his life was pretty damn rough on him. The restraint he had is just as much an indicator of his feelings for Andy as was the anger he shows towards Gokey: he would take on the whole world for Andy, but he would also hold himself back from really hurting Gokey if it means he'll get Andy back this way.

I'm so glad you like it! And I'm super excited to be getting to the end of the story already :D

Heehee...well, I think even on a normal day Neal would scare the crap out of Gokey. Were he looming over him when he woke up, looking murderous and remorselessly breaking fingers, I think it'd be quite a motivator for Danny to get the hell out of there XD

Okay, now that I'm home and can comment properly.

Damn. Go get him, Neal. Avenge every shred of pain you've ever seen Andy endure that you could never take out on anyone. Breaking his trigger finger was exactly what that bastard deserved. Also, I'm slightly disappointed, but proud of you for not choking him.

I didn't see the twist at the end. I really didn't. And like I said on Twitter...we could SEE it, David seeing the gleam of the star and the wheels in his head turning...I'm dying to know how Kris reacts to that.

I'm twitchy for next week already. You have no idea.

Ugh. You. YES. Especially now when Neal's finally realized, hmmm...he's my best friend, I'd do anything for him, we have amazing sex, I can't bear to think of him not in my life...maybe I'm in love with him? Lol. They're incredibly protective of each other in the outlaw world and have been for years; it's actually the catalyst to Andy's first kill. (Though I never touch upon what that situation was in the story because it doesn't fit, of course dreamerren and I have discussed it in detail, hahaha.)

Oh, trust me, my Neal muse really, really wanted to choke the life out of Gokey and fuck all to the arrangement with Kris. But he didn't want to risk anything getting in the way of being reunited with Andy, even his own rage.

I'm so happy that you're enjoying the story :D Just one more chapter, and then an epilogue...I can't believe the story is almost over, it's been such a part of my life for almost the past year. Thank you so much for reading.
