Loving this. The hint of Skibmann, the details about David's multiple traits, Andy's joke at himself about being a shadow hiding in the shadow... I'm loving all the details.

Am I strange for wanting to see the good Dr, all dressed up in dusty leather, cowboy hat and boots on, twi pistols at his hips, his heart racing with anticipation, busting a door down with a kick of his foot? *thud*

I'm so glad you like it! And OMG you saw the little hint of Skibmann, ilu XD I didn't know if people would notice it, it was just such a little thing that can just be platonic friends being silly and stupid together (a.k.a, well...RL Andy and Neal, haha.)

You are NOT strange at all. Like I said, this all started with lots of drooling over just the thought of the guys in outlaw wear, kicking ass and taking names and carving up the West in style. And don't forget the spurs; the Dr. would totally be wearing spurs. ;-)
