My early music ensemble at school is putting on a production of selected scenes from Cavalli's La Calisto
A comic opera from 1651 about the gender bending encounters between mortals, gods and goddesses.
This music is soooo hot! I play Diana, goddess of the hunt, the moon and chastity. Goddess of chastity my eyeball! All my scenes are gender bending girl on girl action! Including a scene where I play a god trapped in a goddesses body, seducing a virgin. Who knew opera could be so interesting. I have added the poster below with all the information.
The location is a bit tricky. It's the concert hall in the music building on the SJSU campus. If you park in the parking garage on 3rd and San Carlos then walk down San Carlos straight towards campus, you will see a big white building next to the event center. That's where the concert hall is. :)
I really hope lots of you come, because I've been working hard and everyone is doing so well and I'm super excited about this role :)
Ok, just noticed the poster is hard to read. The event is Thursday 11/20 at 7:30 PM in the concert hall of the music building. Admission is $10 general and $5 for seniors and students. :D
