Not sure if it applies to the vampires in your world, but from what I know, the typical things--holy water, crosses, whatever--work.

You...probably wouldn't find that stuff in a school, though. Best bet would be to show him that you're not scared and look him eye-to-eye.

Demons love picking on people weaker than them, but if you act like their equal, they're less likely to do anything.
