The funniest part of this week's episodes of both The Office and Pushing Daisies involved a character running like hell out of a building

a) pushing daisies and the office are awesome b) here are some suggestions, along with some from 2000-2006. I have opinions! *The Sixties* -"Revolver" or pretty much any other album > With the beatles -"Blonde on Blonde" or "Highway 61" > Freewheeling -"Are You Experienced" -"Astral Weeks" -"Beggar's Banquet" -"The Band" -"Live At the Apollo" -"Forever Changes" -"Trout Mask Replica" -Otis Redding
*The Seventies* -"Nevermind The Bollocks Here's The Sex Pistols" -"London Calling" > s/t -"Ziggy Stardust" > "Hunky Dory" -"Born To Run" -"Dark Side Of The Moon" -"Horses" -"Blood On the Tracks" -"Marquee Moon" -"IV" -"Who's Next" -"Ramones"
*The Eighties* -"Sign O' The Times" -"The Queen Is Dead" -"The Joshua Tree" -"Remain In Light" -"Closer" -"The Stone Roses" -"Appetite For Destruction" -"Doolittle" > > > > "Come On Pilgrim" -I know I am inherently lame for introducing paul simon into the discussion, but "Graceland" is awesome
*The nineties and today if by today you mean 2003!* -"Nevermind" -"OK Computer" -"Blue Lines" -"Automatic For The People" -"Odelay" -"Screamadelica" -"Is This It?" -"What's The Story Morning Glory?" -"Achtung, Baby" -"Grace" -"Elephant"
These are all good suggestions! Most of these are albums I plan to listen to at some point and a bunch of them were on the big list that I cut down to come up with this. Most of the stuff I am not as familiar with looks good and I will seek it out. Some of the stuff I didn't put on because I really have no idea what it is, like Van Morrison. I have no idea what kind of music Van Morrison makes.
You're right about the Beatles, I think I'll change it to Revolver or Rubber Soul. Most of the others I probably wouldn't change.
Also I guess I didn't say this in the entry but I mostly avoided anything by bands I already like a fair bit and have listened to already to some extent, like Radiohead, the White Stripes, U2, Nirvana, the Smiths, etc.
Well, download "Brown Eyed Girl," "Moondance" and "Sweet Thing," three of his most famous songs. Then you'll know. Personally I don't really dig Van Morrison that much, but maybe you'll feel differently.
