My new favorite website is
WikiHow.com.
Where else can I find out how to, say,
properly listen to Pink Floyd?
"Steps:
- Pick your album of choice (eg, The Wall, Animals, etc).
- Place CD or Vinyl into player.
- Find a place to sit or lay where you would be comfortable laying there for an hour.
- Start CD or vinyl.
- Lay or sit, and close your eyes or stare into space, or maybe even look at the cover art.
- Try using headphones to listen.
- Most of the songs have a whole meaning or story behind it. Try to understand what the song is about, or even the concept of a whole album, like "The Wall".
- Understand the concept behind "The Wall".
- Watch the movie "The Wall".
Warnings:
- Many people like to incorporate the use of illegal drugs, such as hallucinogens or marijuana, whilst listening to Pink Floyd. Make sure you are in a safe environment if you chose to do so, and try to act responsibly."
Seriously, the web just wasn't pulling its weight in providing
information like "If you make a girl laugh at a stupid joke, you know she likes you." No, not until WikiHow came along.
God bless you, WikiHow.
