Chaps Pit Beef and Games
Wow I hd a great time last night. You might be wondering what I did to earn such a wonderful start to the blog. Well first I got to hang out with my sisters. They are my absolute favorite girls in the world. They fight and bicker with each other. It sometimes gets tiresome. But as all sibing relationships do the fightings will disapate as they get older. While they establish thier own identity and come into their own. Right now they are very similar in many regards and that creates a healthy atmosphere for competitive dominence.
As you can see my sisters would be more then enough for me to have a good day. But no that was just the tip of the iceburg. My great friend Carly drove all the way up from a town, I will not discose in a public area such as this, half hour away. It is truely always a pleasure for me everytime she comes here even if it's just for a few hours. She is great with my sisters and a fun person to hangout with. You will have a hard time finding a finer friend. So I had three of my favorite ladies to hang out with yesterday. Also my cousin/roommate John was with us.
So what did we do might you ask?? GOOD QUSTION... ever seen the food network show called Diner Drive ins and dives?? Well they featured a PITBEEF stand called CHAPS. It's located at the parking lot of the Gentlemans Gold Club. Yes it is the place where they hold the regional stripper contest for THE MISS NUDE UNIVERSE. I've been to one and I got to tell you I couldn't get the smell of the place out of my mind for about a week.
Well we all hopped into Carlys car and drove down. When we reached the place it was just a little shack in one of the semi shady side of town. As a matter of fact when we first got out the car we all heard a lady screem from a distance. It sounded as if she was in trouble. We looked at each other and seriously considered going back in the car and driving our suburban asses back to where we belong. We were like county kids going into the hood to score some weed.
Anyway we gathered our courage and started to walk in to the place. It was a lot smaller the it looked like on tv. But the food is FANTASTIC. No make that STANTASTC. My sisters and I ordered the Large fresh cut boardwalk type fries. Along with the BULLDOG (cheese, sausage, pit beef) and a tricomb (Cheese, sausage, pitbeef and pitham). I believe Carly ordered the Rachel (reuben with pit-turkey). Carly ate the hell out of Rachel. Sorry bad joke I know. But when else am I going to have an opertunity to say that?
We went to IKEA to eat our subs. Carly wanted to replace some bamboos that had met an unfortunate feline frenzied end. But it turned out to be a decent place to bring outside food to eat at. We sat in the corner of the cafe away from a lot of people.
I'm also excited because yesterday I went to TOYS R US. They had a huge sale on video games and accesories. I bought two steering wheels and games. I got SAMBA de AMIGO, MARIO KARTS, & Wii Play (with controller). Over all I had a kick ass day.
