Heaven
And then, there's Heaven. I mean... all we have to do is say "God, i know you're out there. I'm sorry that i've done so much wrong in life. I don't know everything, only that for me you sacrificed your son on the cross. And i know that i need you. Please, come into my life and save me" and poof, you get to go to Heaven. That sounds a little easy to me. But that's it.
God wants us.. He wants us all. If we will simply ask for Him then He will give us EVERYTHING we need and more. Fact is, all your suffering will be nothing compared to what you can recieve. Earth compared to Heaven is like spending one night in an inconvenient motel. Going to Heaven is not based on whether you're worthy, because we all fall short of the glory of God. Those who go to Heaven are the ones God allows into Heaven, because they have shown in their earthly lives that they are prepared. It is because they wanted Him, more than anything else in this world, they wanted Truth, Life, and Love.
Heaven is where God resides, but nothing impure can dwell in his presence. No man, no matter how good he is, is pure. And that's where the crucifixion came into play, so that we may be cleansed by the blood spilled from the body of Christ. You just have to ask for it.
