and I felt the face of a cold tonight
So not a lot's happened since I last updated. I went camping for a weekend, which was fun. I've still been playing video games a lot and watching anime. (Currently finished: Berserk, both Valkyrie Profiles, Magic Knight Rayearth, Erementar Gerad/Elemental Gelade, Star Ocean: The Second Story OMG FINALLY, and Star Ocean EX; currently watching/playing: Excel Saga, Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, and Odin Sphere) I also went to a friend's party at the beach yesterday, which was a whole lot of fun.
However, something's also been bothering me, and I can't say this directly to my friend's face, so...RANT TIME!
Honestly, I've tried to drop you subtle hints about this, but obviously, you're just not getting it. I don't talk music like you do. I am not a music major. I do not know every single term that you decide to throw out. I will tell you that the music is pretty, but I will not discuss the music's form, tonality, or anything along those lines with you or anyone else.
When I want to know exactly what something is, I will ask. If not, I will simply smile and nod or, in the case of text, type nothing. The same goes for math. I know that you're very knowledgeable about those two subjects, carnivorous plants, and science in general, but you don't know how to talk to people who aren't as interested in those topics as you. Sometimes, I just wish you'd be a little more well-rounded so that we could talk a little more shallowly.
Maybe that's our problem. I want conversation; you want discussion. Sigh.
