Oh, Anime Club, stop being so stupid

I now realize why I tend to avoid most clubs for the hobbies that I enjoy. I hate to say it, but the campus anime club is overrun by your stereotypical anime fans and social outcasts. There's the attention whore who compulsively lies (She's mostly gone now. I DIDN'T NEED THE RANDOM FLASHING THX), the wannabe cool guy, the all-too-sure-of-himself jackass (Although, he isn't THAT bad), and now ADD girl with social disfunctionality. Granted, there are more stereotypes that are covered by the members, but these are the ones I know best.

Tonight, I nearly lost it with ADD Girl. I'm actually surprised that we made it through the night without physical violence. See, there are several things wrong with her. The first that I noticed was that she often would change topics IN THE MIDDLE OF HER SENTENCES. I know that this is a normal thing to do SOMETIMES, but she did this quite frequently. The second thing was that she could not take "no" for an answer, no matter how emphatically it was stressed. This was the main source of aggravation.

Let me start this with the general scene. There are about eight of us at In-N-Out, and one of the girls has her gel pens with her and is drawing on my friend's arm. ADD Girl first states that she wants to be next and that she's not leaving until she has something done. Drawing Girl comments that ADD Girl might be staying, but that she herself will be leaving. ADD Girl then says, "No, you're staying until you've drawn on me." There is an eerie silence for a while.

Then, ADD Girl starts to go on some inane babbling about her drawing. She asks if Drawing Girl can do Harry Potter AS A LIGHTNING BUTTERFLY. This makes me WTF SEVERELY. Everyone goes about their business for a while before ADD Girl asks Drawing Girl if she can use her pens because she wants to draw on her boyfriend. Drawing Girl calmly but firmly explains that no, she won't allow that because the pens are hers and they are expensive. ADD Girl proceeds to ask again. Drawing Girl says more firmly that no, she can't use them. ADD Girl starts to explain that since Drawing Girl had stated earlier that the pens were a gift, they cost her no money out of pocket and were therefore free for use. Drawing Girl gets upset but just says no. THEN ADD Girl proceeds to inform Drawing Girl that she has organized her pens in the wrong way. There is silence again.

Later, ADD Girl tells everyone that she's going to take pictures of the finished drawing and will upload them later. Drawing Girl informs her that permission of the artist is needed and she hasn't given it and won't. ADD Girl GOES LAWYER on Drawing Girl, saying that it was Friend's arm and therefore really Friend's decision. EVERYONE'S EYES ARE TWITCHING BY THIS POINT.

Finally, pictures are taken even though Drawing Girl continued to say no, and once they are finished, the entire subject is dropped. Drawing Girl, however, is visibly and justifiably pissed. Everyone else is trying to keep from ripping ADD Girl's throat out. Games are played and peace reigns.

I must say that I am impressed by Drawing Girl's patience, though.

ETA: I did, however, get a chance to see parts of an episode of Ouran, and I just might have to watch the rest of that show. XD; CRACKTASTIC Also saw the first episode of GunxSword, which looked like it might turn into something very awesome.
